Making use of what you have

Like most people who are selling or letting their house, you are probably thinking that your options are limited to putting your house in the hands of an agency.

THIS IS NOT TRUE

Make use of the internet, and most likely broadband connection you are using and sell your house online, not only will you save heaps but the sale will also be so much easier.

You could also go low tech and put your own advert in the local paper, this may not seem all that high tech, but it is a cost effective way of selling you house.

Remember its your house and you control how it sells.

Why do we use estate agents

Having rented houses for several years and looked into buying on a number of occassions, I find the fact that estate agents even exist a bit of a pain.

My question would be why, I have found sites such as Buzz Properties which allow you to sell or let your house for nothing. I have to say this seems like a great idea. As from my experience everytime I have rented a house an dealt with an agency there have been nothing but problems.
Now dealing with landlords direct is a much better way to go and if you are buying a house I know that I have personally found it easier to deal with people directly.
